”You’re so pretty it hurts” <3

Again Jesus called the crowd to him and said, “Listen to me, everyone, and understand this. Nothing outside a man can defile him by going into him. Rather, it is what comes out of a man that defiles him”

After he had left the crowd and entered the house, his disciples asked him about this parable. “Are you so dull?” he asked. “Don’t you see that nothing that enters a man from the outside can defile him? For it doesn’t go into his heart but into his eyestomach, and then out of his body.”

He went on: “What comes out of a man is what defiles him. For from within, out of men’s hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and is what defiles him” Mark 7:14-23

Sometimes I’m dull too, but Jesus is helping me understand.

Above all, love deeply, because love covers a multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4:8

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and endures through every circumstance.

Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13

God is love. 1 John 4:8

Lord please perfect me in love. I’m tired of fighting this battle with fear and satan’s lies, this battle that You’ve already won. Please perfect me in love so my heart can comprehend that.

I don’t think there is anything that feels worse than fear gripping your heart while everybody looks at you blankly because to them you’re just unreasonable. Maybe I am, maybe I’m weak in faith. It’s hard. Lord please take this thorn from me, it hurts. Amen.

I’ve ever seen in my life, and for a second I could swear it was coming straight in through my window. I was sliently freaking out! Could I have been at the end of the rainbow? hehe
